UNHCR Case Conference for PSEA Focal Points/Practitioners

This case study package was developed by UNHCR to build PSEA FP capacity and increase effectiveness of PSEA implementation, through guided peer to peer exchange and facilitated analysis of existing operational measures. Specifically, the objectives of the webinar are: 1) to stimulate in-depth practical discussion on our actual operational responses to SEA cases and on our SEA prevention and coordination work, 2) learn from each other (identify promising practices), and 3) identify actions to improve PSEA prevention and response in each operation

The package includes:

  • PPT – main tool, facilitators notes included in slide notes
  • Facilitators Guide – PDF version of the PPT & notes, in case the facilitator prefers to prepare using this type of document.
  • Key Resources sheet – in word & PDF, for each organisation to adapt / add to as needed, and share with participants following the session
  • Leaflet which gives an overview of the resource

Social

Sexual exploitation and abuse represents a catastrophic failure of protection. It brings harm to those whom we are mandated to protect.

The Inter-Agency Standing Committee is working to scale up protection from sexual exploitation and abuse across humanitarian response efforts. This website and global dashboard has been developed and managed through the support of UNICEF. It is dedicated to providing technical support and resources to practitioners, and to tracking inter-agency, collective progress across countries with a humanitarian response.
