Tanzania Kigoma Region PSEA Network 2018 PSEA Taskforce Workplan

The Tanzania Refugee Interagency Taskforce (PSEA TF) seeks to ensure protection from SEA in the refugee response. It seeks to ensure full commitment of its members to strengthen and enhance the protection and care of all persons of concern, and especially women and children, in situations of humanitarian crisis and establish commitment to the Inter Agency Standing Committee (IASC) Six Core Principles relating to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse. The PSEA TF comprises Focal Points nominated from each agency and organization working in the response who are committed to delivering a workplan to ensure full adherence to the agreed PSEA Protocol.

Sexual exploitation and abuse represents a catastrophic failure of protection. It brings harm to those whom we are mandated to protect.

The Inter-Agency Standing Committee is working to scale up protection from sexual exploitation and abuse across humanitarian response efforts. This website and global dashboard has been developed and managed through the support of UNICEF. It is dedicated to providing technical support and resources to practitioners, and to tracking inter-agency, collective progress across countries with a humanitarian response.
